The PTO thanks all of you who volunteered your time and efforts in making the 2008-09 school year one of the best yet at Glenwood and Laurin schools. 

The PTO is happy to annouce that all required board positions for next year were filled at the last PTO meeting on May 28th.  For the upcoming school year, the PTO is relying on parent and teacher volunteers more than ever to help plan, coordinate and carry out the various events PTO sponsors.  Without parent and teacher involvement, the PTO may have to forego events that were offered in previous years.  WE NEED YOU!  Please get involved with PTO - you can make a difference!  Think you don’t have time?  There are many ways you can help that require very little time and no ongoing committments.

The PTO is a non-profit group that exists to support the educational efforts of the Glenwood Primary School and Laurin Middle School in Vancouver, Washington. These schools are part of the Battle Ground School District. All community members are encouraged to participate; however voting members include everyone who has children enrolled at either school. We hope that you will attend the PTO meetings, volunteer at fund-raising events or become involved in any way you can. There are many ways to participate in the PTO. Make sure to visit the fund raising and volunteer areas to find out how.
